Located just steps from the cathedral and the city center, our establishment offers a true haven of serenity for an exceptional stay. Due to the historic charm of our hotel, we are unable to provide an elevator. Therefore, our team is available to assist you at any time or to offer you a ground-floor room in one of our three distinct styles. Please provide us with the necessary information when making your reservation.

The rooms at Maison Mathilde are magnificent, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The staff are friendly. Dinner and breakfast are excellent. We will definitely return. (Maison Mathilde is a small, elegant house with a few rooms, located 200 meters from the Hôtel de la Reine Mathilde. It has a small white stone courtyard and is a lovely building right in the city center – a real gem). A few points for improvement for a prestige room: shower gels a bit larger than the small bottle provided, and larger, thicker bath towels.

Very happy with this hotel. The rooms were very nice and very clean. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly and smiling. The food was very good quality. Thank you to the chef! I had a great stay in Bayeux at this hotel located in the city center. A cozy and quiet hotel, perfect for relaxing. All the staff were very attentive to their guests. Even the manager took five minutes each evening to listen to my feedback on my stay. The Wi-Fi and Chromecast worked very well. I recommend this hotel for its location and price. A nice, inexpensive hotel in Bayeux! The evening walks around the hotel are really lovely. The breakfast is good, and the evening meals are decent. The staff is helpful and readily available. The rooms are a bit small but well-equipped, and the bedding is very comfortable. It's definitely worth the price!

Hôtel Reine Mathilde in Bayeux, France, is a delightful retreat offering not only comfortable accommodations but also an excellent bistro serving classic French dishes. The hotel's convenient location near the cathedral makes it a perfect base for exploring the charming town, and everything is within walking distance. With its proximity to the D-Day beaches and easy day trips to Mont Saint-Michel and other Normandy towns, you can easily spend four or five days here. A helpful tip for visitors – drop off your luggage at the hotel and park at the rotary near a field, just a 10-minute walk away, where ample free parking awaits. This thoughtful touch enhances the overall experience of staying at Hôtel Reine Mathilde.
